Over Thanksgiving break, our dear friends Valerie and Travis drove all the way
out from Oregon to see us. It was a wonderful visit. We really enjoyed spending time with them and hosting them in our beautiful Wyoming home!
Isaac was thrilled to have new playmates around.
There was plenty of time for hanging and playing at home.
And there was snow play.
Got the whole place to ourselves!
What a beautiful couple. And I get some credit for setting up them up--my first attempt ever at matchmaking. I'll think I'll stop there.
The lovely Valerie and the Wyoming Range mountains.
Sweet pooches.
A little bar fun.
A little instruction goes a long way.
Thanksgiving Day
Holiday indulgence warm-up: dough ups.
Val's understudy is very curious about the virtues of these dough-ups.
Pre-meal ski so we could eat lots later.
We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for the week.
Preggo on skis. Somewhere around 34 weeks.
Time to get serious about Thanksgiving: frying the turkey.
Excitement for the bird grows!
Let's eat!
Thank you soooooo much for coming to visit, Trav and Val!!! We loved having you here and thoroughly enjoyed sharing a low-key, Wyoming Thanksgiving with you. We can't wait to see you again!
