Glacier National Park

In August, after Steve and Mary left our place, they headed to Glacier.  We drove up later to join them for their last few days in the park.  They had made a cozy home in Many Glacier Campground that we were fortunate to enjoy.  We filled our days with a couple of really nice hikes for which Isaac was a super trooper.  He hung with us for some of the longest hikes he's ever done.  I was thrilled to get to make it all the way up to Grinnell Glacier on our longest hike.  We spent one lazy day on the beach and in the canoe.  We cooked up some good camp food and made several trips to the camp store for huckleberry ice cream.  And Steve and Mary treated us to breakfast at the Many Glacier Hotel for our 6th wedding anniversary. It was a splendid trip.  I'm so glad we managed to squeeze it into our busy summer.  Thank you so much for hosting us, Mary and Steve!!
