Nana and Grandpa Come to Town!

And finally, the last, but definitely not least, family visit of the summer.  Nana and Grandpa came out in August.  We were just one stop on their almost two-month journey across the west in their truck with camper, canoe, and bikes in tow.  They know how to travel!  They spent over a week here with us, and we loved every minute of it.  Much of the visit was devoted to their hard work and attention building a swing set for Mr. I.  He's one lucky kiddo.

Piece by piece, board by board, and nail by nail, Grandpa built a really sweet play set.  Of course, he had lots of help.

What was Isaac doing while all this hard work was going on?  Mostly playing.

The tower nears and reaches completion!

Loving his new play place.

The handy carpenters.  We are so grateful for their gift!!

We did manage to squeeze in a little fun also.

Going for a hike at Boulder Creek.

Duhgus soaking up some creek time.

Nana and Grandpa kept Isaac for two days so that Matt and I could go on an overnight hike (here's the post).  While we were away, they seemed to have a good time.  Isaac was on his best behavior for them.  He even showed off by eating green beans.  Maybe Nana and Grandpa should babysit more often.

Exploring the Mountain Man Museum with Nana and Grandpa.

Thanks so much for coming out to see us and for the awesome gift! We can't wait for our next time together!!
