A Camping We Will Go

We bought a camper trailer!  It is a 1988 Kit Calay.  Kits are no longer made, but we are told they are good quality trailers.

We are very excited for our forthcoming camping adventures.  Although Matt and I have always loved tent camping, our reality is that we are a family with little ones, and it's nice to keep them warm and dry.  We think the camper will allow for more time living outside than a tent does.  Now if summer would just get here--it might be a couple of months yet.

Kitchenette complete with gas stove, oven, sink, and refrigerator.  Brewing coffee in the comfort of a warm trailer in the early mornings will be oh so nice!

Tiny bathroom.  I foresee it being used mostly to hose off filthy kids at the end of a day.

Gather 'round the table, and then make it your bed.

This is me feeling very excited to be wearing my regular jeans for the first time post pregnancy.  Woo hoo!!

Doesn't it match our house so nicely??  Maybe we should hold off on the painting project we hope to do this summer.

  1. camping beats house painting every time but, if I know you Julie, you will get both done :)
